CERAMICS
I make both functional pottery as well as ceramic sculpture.
Clay has been a passion of mine since high school. I always found hand building easy and fun.
My home is full of clay vessels and objects that i have made eg. soap dishes and candle holders, fruit bowls and napkin holders.
I started making figures and statuettes years ago but they kept breaking. So I mounted them in shadow boxes and added their stories using paint and mixed media collage.

Peace is more important than anything.

Homeless.
This sculpture is about homeless people and the way that life doesn't always work out for some people.
